Maxie the Preacher’s Wife is a character created by Elaine Brantley. Elaine, a pastor’s wife, is married to Dr. Rickey Brantley, who has dedicated his life to pastoring and teaching God’s Church. She is also the mother of three children, a musician, and a lover of humor. Elaine created the Maxie character as a good, clean, wholesome form of entertainment.

You’ll do much more than just laugh as you hear about the many adventures of life as a preacher’s wife. You may even recognize some of the same people in your own congregation as she shares about the humorous side of church life.

Elaine also is very active in leading Women’s Conferences and Retreats covering many topics and issues women face today. Among those issues taught from a Biblical perspective are: When Life Gives You Lemons (a conference study of the book of Ruth and how it relates to today’s woman)
Do You Really Believe What Jesus Said? (a conference study of direct encounters Jesus had with women in Scripture)
Laughter…Good for What Ails You (a conference on the importance and benefits of laughter)

The newest conference offered is our “for women only” Sisters’ Conference:
Sisters…Or If You’re from the South…Sistahs! This two day conference is a celebration of our sisters’ relationship in Christ. Maxie will make you laugh till you cry sharing her own brand of wisdom about sistahs and sistah’s issues! Then Elaine will explore the biblical basis for our sisterhood in Christ as she shares what a sister is, who should sister and who should be sistered, and most importantly, how we sister one another in Christ.

Each conference is a fun-filled, laugh till you cry, come to Jesus event! Call today and arrange for Maxie and Elaine to minister to your group!
